The City of Prairie Village is pleased to announce its third Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR).
Each year, the City of Prairie Village produces a Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR), which outlines the City’s financial position and operating activities and includes audited financial statements; however, due to its length and scope, the CAFR is not very user-friendly.
Prairie Village staff felt it was important to make the City’s financial information more accessible, so the Finance Department developed this document. The PAFR includes a summary of City services, Statement of Net Position, revenues, expenditures, debt and an economic outlook.
