The City's annual large-item pick-up will be on Saturday, April 19th, 2008.  All items must be at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on April 19th for collection.

What Gets Picked Up and What Doesn't

Small appliances, furniture, toys (disassemble your swing sets), and carpets are among the things you can dispose of, if you prepare them properly for pick-up. Remember, nothing larger than a household refrigerator will be picked up.

There are items which will not be collected; items such as tires, car batteries and construction debris will not be collected during large item pick-up.  It is the resident's responsibility to make arrangements for disposal of these items.

Miss the Pick-Up?

If you fail to get your items out in time for pick-up (7:00 a.m.), you will be responsible for the disposal of the items.

There will be a separate special pick-up scheduled for April 19th for items containing CFC conditioners including refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, ice makers, and de-humidifiers. Call Deffenbaugh Disposal Service at 913-631-3300 for more information.
