The Prairie Village Pool
Complex will open for the 2009 season at 11:00 am on Saturday, May
23rd and close at 6:00 pm on Monday, September
7th. The Pool Complex is located at 7711 Delmar.

Moonlight Swims - June 19, July 10 and August 7
The Pool remains open for moonlight swims until 10:00 pm.
Reduced Pool Hours
May 26-28 - Pool opens at 4:30 p.m.
Due to the start of school
for Shawnee Mission students, the pool will be operating on a reduced
schedule beginning August 17th.

4:30 pm -8:30 pm
Saturday
11:00 am - 8:30 pm
Sunday
11:00 am - 8:30 pm
The pool may be closed
or hours shortened due to weather conditions, availability of lifeguards,
or scheduled competitive swim meets. The pool's snack bar
may also be closed periodically due to low attendance or inclement
weather.
The Pool Complex will also close early for Swim Team and Dive Team meets on several occasions throughout the season.

Pool Membership
Annual pool memberships will
be available for purchase beginning Wednesday, April 1st at the Municipal
Offices or online. Pool members renewing their 2008 memberships for 2009
can download
the application form and renew their membership by mail.
Remember, you can be a
member of the pool whether or not you're a Prairie Village resident.

before visiting the Prairie Village Pool. When you purchase a pool
membership or swim card, you'll receive a complete list of pool
rules and regulations. We recommend you download
a copy of the pool rules to review with all members of your
family.
Pool Rental
Prairie Village residents may rent the Leisure Pool, Slide Pool
and Diving Well after the pool closes any available evening between
June 1st and August 9th. Parties may be held from 8:30 pm
until 10:00 pm. Reservations are made through the pool manager at
913-385-4650. All food must be kept within the concessions area.
