The City of Prairie Village is seeking part time School Crossing Guards for the 2010-2011 school year. There is one morning and one afternoon session daily, usually Monday through Friday: 7:30 am to 8:10 am The position is for the nine-month school year and currently pays $12.30 per session, with incentives for attendance and longevity. Excellent communication skills via the radio and telephone are required as is the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently. Applicants must have knowledge of Microsolf computer programs and typing skills. This full-time position requires rotating shift work, including weekends and Holidays. Applicants must successfully pass a polygraph, background investigation, psychological and medical exams. Salary range is $2,866 to $4,308/month, DOQ , with excellent benefits
