POLICE & FIRE DEPARTMENTS

The Prairie Village Police Department provides police protection services for Prairie Village and Mission Hills. Police officers are on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The Communicator! Notification System: The Communicator is a high-speed notification system capable of notifying Prairie Village residents of a potential threat to public safety in a matter of minutes.

Fire protection in Prairie Village is provided by Johnson County Consolidated Fire District #2. To learn more, visit the District's website.
