Fingerprinting services are available at the Public Safety Center on the following days and times: Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Requests will be processed for the following individuals: residents and employees of businesses located within the Cities of Prairie Village and Mission Hills, Kansas, or those needing fingerprints for Prairie Village or Mission Hills City-required licensing procedures.
Please contact Records Personnel upon your arrival so you may be helped more expeditiously.
The Prairie Village Police Department provides police protection services
for Prairie Village and Mission Hills. Police officers are on duty 24 hours
a day, seven days a week.

The Communicator is a high-speed notification system capable of notifying
Prairie Village residents of a potential threat to public safety in a matter
of minutes.
