Franklin Park is named for former Mayor William E. Franklin (1973-1979).

Franklin Park pavilion is available to reserve as either a whole or you may rent the north or south end. Each end of the pavilion has 4 eight foot tables and 1 child's table. There are 2 four foot serving tables at the center of the pavilion. There is a grill at each end of the pavilion. The pavilion is lighted with 4 electrical outlets at each end of the pavilion. There are 10 other tables scattered throughout the park, and restrooms are next to the pavilion. The restrooms are open year-round. The park has baseball / soccer fields, playground equipment, a play stream, sandbox, and a 1/2 mile walking path.
