Prairie Village Tree Board has Successful Tree Planting Event

Post Date:10/23/2018 3:40 PM

The Prairie Village Tree Board in coordination with the Heartland Tree Alliance-Bridging the Gap had their 2nd Annual Tree Planting Event. The Prairie Village Tree Board has an annual event where they pick a location in the City that is in need of more right-of-way trees to help promote trees in the City and to give neighborhoods the benefits that trees can provide.

This year the Prairie Village Tree Board, Heartland Tree Alliance as well as volunteers from Orizon Aerostructures planted 22 trees. The trees were planted along 63rd Street just west of Mission Road and along Mission Road from 63rd Street to 67th Terrace.
