R.G. Endres Gallery now featuring February exhibit

Post Date:02/04/2019 9:00 AM
Wildlife and the beauty of the natural world are the dominant themes of the February exhibit at the R.G. Endres Gallery in Prairie Village City Hall, 7700 Mission Road. The works of regional artists Kathleen Kirch, Gardner, and Shelby Prindaville, Leavenworth, are displayed in oils, acrylics, and watercolors.

Kirch, an avid hiker and outdoors enthusiast, said that her paintings of wildlife are inspired by her spiritual connection to the places she has visited. Complimenting these works, Prindaville, the Art Program Director and Assistant Professor of Art at the University of St. Mary in Leavenworth, expresses the ethereal beauty of nature in her watercolors, acrylics and mixed media.

The exhibit runs Feb. 4 through Feb. 27 at the R.G. Endres Gallery during City Hall business hours, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. A reception with the artists will be held on Friday, Feb. 8 from 6-7 p.m.
