Stay At Home order in effect beginning March 24, 2020

Post Date:03/23/2020 3:04 PM

A stay at home order has been issued for Johnson County based on recommendations from health experts surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. The order, issued by the Local Health Officer of Johnson County, goes into effect March 24. The City of Prairie Village has issued a supplemental declaration of a state of local disaster emergency to incorporate and adopt the County’s stay-at-home order.

The City of Prairie Village is encouraging residents to do business with the City online or via phone, fax, mail or email. The City has created a webpage to help residents find the latest information on the COVID-19 pandemic. That page is available at www.pvkansas.com/COVID19. Johnson County has established a hotline related to the stay at home order: 913-715-5000. A second hotline is available for those with virus-related questions: 913-715-2819.
