The City of Prairie Village is turning 75!  Our community is celebrating its Diamond Anniversary throughout 2026 and we’re having a parade on Saturday, May 2 at 10 a.m., followed by live music and festivities at Corinth Square. 

To make the parade a great success we would like to invite you and your group, church, school, or other organization to join us in this celebration. Please help us spread the word far and wide – parent/teacher associations, school booster groups, homes associations, classic car clubs, scout troops, church congregations, dance companies, and more are welcome to participate. The parade is sure to be a grand event with your involvement.

Our parade theme is “Prairie Village through the Decades.” Bring the joy of any decade and decorate a float, a pick-up, flat bed or other vehicle. Show off your classic car, get the band together, or walk with your neighbors. We are looking forward to seeing the creative entries from our community.
