Now Live:
We have transitioned to an online, cloud-based licensing system called OpenGov. All home day care businesses must apply and pay for a Prairie Village Home Day Care License here.
A few things to note:
- You must first create an account with OpenGov and then apply.
- Once you've applied you will get an automatic email confirmation.
- Staff will then review your application to verify it has been completed, the Fire Department will verify your annual fire inspection has passed, and you will receive an additional email requesting payment. This will be done through the OpenGov system.
- Applications are considered incomplete until payment is made. Applications and payment must be completed before your license expiration date.
