Photos of victim Pira "Peter" Limaksorn
This case involves the unsolved homicide of 41-year-old, Pira Limaksorn, also known as Peter, who was killed in early July 1985 at his home in Prairie Village, Kansas. Pira’s body was found in Linn County, Kansas, in September 1985, after he had been shot in the abdomen and head. His remains were disposed of in a vehicle that was returned to his garage. There was significant blood evidence at the crime scene, and a thorough investigation followed.
Pira was a known gambler and bookie, with many associates who resided in both Kansas and Missouri. It was reported that Pira had significant financial dealings, including large sums of money kept at his home, but his safe was missing when his body was found. Interviews were conducted with friends, family, and acquaintances, and several investigators worked on the case.
The case remains unresolved, but details such as the discovery of his remains and the possible involvement of individuals close to him were significant points in the original investigation.

The case regarding the cold case homicide of Virgil H. Hollis, a polygraph examiner, remains unsolved since his death on July 16, 1976. Hollis was shot and killed at his office, located at 4121 W. 83rd St., Suite 251, in Prairie Village, Kansas. The circumstances surrounding the crime were suspicious, and several witnesses and leads have been explored over the years.
On the day of the murder, a man named "Jim Hall" had an appointment with Hollis, but there were no concrete details about him, and multiple attempts to identify him were unsuccessful. Witnesses described seeing a suspicious man running in the hallway, carrying a brown paper bag, and acting strangely when approached by a neighboring tenant in the office building, who discovered Hollis' body. Composite sketches were created based on the descriptions, but no definitive suspects emerged.
Further investigation into Hollis' personal life and business contacts raised questions about possible motives, but the case remained open. Key figures were scrutinized, but no direct evidence tied them to the crime. The case remains a cold case with ongoing uncertainty about the true identity of the killer and the circumstances surrounding Hollis' death.
