The mission of the Human Resources Department is to provide and retain a skilled and competent workforce for City of Prairie Village departments so that they may deliver superior services to the residents and visitors. Human Resources is committed to being a quality resource for our employees through communication and cooperation in all areas.
HR oversees and administers the city's payroll and benefit programs, employee-related regulatory compliance, HRIS administration, employee training and development, and employee performance management.
