Fingerprinting Requests

Fingerprinting services are generally available at the Police Department on the following days and times:

Monday through Friday -- 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. 
           *Closed for lunch break 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Due to staffing in Records, fingerprints may not always be able to be completed during these hours.  Please call Records at (913) 385-4632 to make sure a staff member is available to assist you prior to coming in to the Department for fingerprints.  

Requests will be processed for the following individuals:

• residents of the Cities of Prairie Village or Mission Hills, Kansas, only;
• employees of businesses located within the Cities of Prairie Village and Mission Hills, Kansas, and
• individuals needing fingerprints for Prairie Village or Mission Hills City-required licensing procedures.

There is no charge for this service. Please note that cards are provided by the Police Department.

Please contact Records Personnel upon your arrival so you may be helped more expeditiously.

Please note: Cards must be filled out at the Police Department.  Cards filled out prior to your arrival cannot be used.
