The Prairie Village Pool Complex will not open this summer due to safety concerns for pool employees and area residents. The decision to keep the pool closed was made by the City Council based on recommendations from City staff in light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Prairie Village Mayor declares local state of emergency due to COVID-19 pandemic, effective immediately
Prairie Village Mayor Eric Mikkelson has declared a local state of emergency related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Prairie Village City Hall and the Public Works Administration building will be closed to the public effective at 8 a.m. March 17.
