The Finance Committee meets as needed during the day and adjourns no later than 6:00 p.m.
The Finance Committee will counsel and recommend policies and activities to the Governing Body and as directed by the Governing Body, including but not limited to, management of financial resources, financial/investment policies and provide direction and guidance to staff on financial issues. The Finance Committee consists of six voting members, including a Chair and Vice-Chair, who are City Council Members, appointed by the Mayor without the consent of the City Council.
