Swim lessons for non-swim team participants are provided at the Prairie Village Pool by the Johnson County Park & Recreation District (JCPRD.)

Registration for lessons & programs will be taken through Johnson County Park and Recreation District (JCPRD), 6501 Antioch (Merriam), Monday – Friday, from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. You may also register by phone at 913-831-3359 between 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.  For more information about JCPRD programs, visit their website at www.jcprd.comYou do not need to be a member of the Prairie Village Pool to take swim lessons through Johnson County Park and Recreation.

Johnson County Park and Recreation offers a variety of classes for those aged 6 months to adult.  Please contact JCPRD for specific class offerings, times and prerequisites if any. The JCPRD Swim Program will conduct out-of-water safety and deck training for days of inclement weather or insufficient staff.

Morning lessons are offered Monday through Thursday between 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
