Residents are encouraged to do business with the City online or via phone, fax, mail or email. A list of services impacted is as follows: READ MORE

Social distancing doesn't have to mean social isolation. At the request of Prairie Village residents, the City has streamlined its permitting process for street closures. Doing so has allowed the children in this Ward 3 neighborhood to spread out and maintain social distance as they play. Thanks to Sara E. for sending these pictures!

We're working to safely reopen City facilities. We are in phase 2 of the reopening plan, and playground equipment remains closed. We're hoping to reopen playgrounds and park shelters June 8. In the meantime, parks are open for outdoor activities like walking, jogging, and biking. Tennis courts and basketball courts are open, too. Thank you for helping us achieve a safe return for our community by practicing social distancing, wearing a mask when appropriate, and frequently washing your hands.
