Pursuant to City Ordinance 2427, loud noise is prohibited before 7:00 a.m. and after 10:00 p.m. on weekdays (except Fridays, which will be until 12:00 a.m./midnight) and before 8:00 a.m. and after midnight on weekends (except on Sundays, which will be 10:00 p.m.)

A note about construction noise:
The regular permitted hours of construction are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday – Sunday. Between May 15 and September 15 each year, construction can begin at 7 a.m. Monday – Friday except on federal holidays. These hours apply to all construction on private property whether it is residential construction or commercial construction.
