Prairie Village has more than a dozen parks where visitors can run, walk, bike, hike and play. Park hours are 7:00 am to 11:00 pm, daily. Amenities vary by facility; however many of the parks have handicap accessible parking, playground equipment, picnic tables, restrooms, tennis courts and athletic fields. Several parks have reservable shelters. Park shelters and athletic fields can be reserved online or in person at City Hall by both residents and non-residents.

If you are planning on having music or a band, you must obtain an Amplified Sound Permit. This can be applied for online by clicking here.
If you are planning on having inflatables, event signs, tents, Chris Cakes, food trucks, and/or concerts, you must obtain a Short-term Special Use Permit.
